Senseworks + WeSoft: A complete software suite for audit firms

Leading Swedish audit and accounting software providers Senseworks and WeSoft are integrating their systems more tightly to provide the best software suite for Nordic audit and combination firms working with SME clients.

Senseworks, which has developed an audit and transaction analysis software, and WeSoft, which has developed an support suite for audit firms, now offer a comprehensive suite for everything from sales support, start-up of new customers, KYC, time reports, customer portal, e-signing and automated auditing and reporting.

“WeAudit has long been a big user of Senseworks Analytics and we have always been impressed with their methodology and processes that allowed them to finish their peak audit seasons early with high quality and profitability. That's why it was natural for us to start working closely with WeSoft and now we offer a complete software suite that allows all firms to work with the same high level of efficiency, quality and employee satisfaction,” says Alexander Ögren, Founder at Senseworks.

Senseworks and WeSoft are developing a variety of system integrations that make joint customers significantly more efficient by automating large parts of their work.

“Our goal in the short term is to reduce the time spent on an audit by 30 percent, without taking away the space for professional judgment or the sense of control,” says Henrik Ahnkron.

Both WeSoft and Senseworks were started by public accountants who saw great potential for improvement in the working methods and software they used and built the tools they wished they had.

“We have seen a lot of demand in the market. Neither the small nor the largest firm are satisfied with the software they have had to live with. They all want to constantly improve, be more efficient and deliver more value to their customers. That's why we're building what we call the audit and analysis software of the future - data-driven, automated and focused on creating value for customers instead of administration,” says Alexander Ögren.

More and more integrations between the systems are now being built on an ongoing basis. The suppliers now have several common clients and are onboarding more firms after the summer.

“We are looking for firms that are forward-leaning like us and want to take advantage of the new technology. Imagine sitting in the middle of May, logging on to your computer, and seeing that you're done with all 12's. See the exact status of all your audit assignments at the touch of a button. That's what we deliver together with Senseworks,” says Henrik Ahnkron.
